Taxonomic Comments
Kartesz 1999 treats Polemonium nevadense as a distinct taxon, however, the Intermountain Flora vol. 4 (1984) and the Nevada Natural Heritage Program treat P. nevadense as synonymous with P. pulcherrimum. P. nevadense may deserve varietal status, but not species status (pers. comm. J. Morefield).
