Taxonomic CommentsPotentilla johnstonii was published by Sojak in 2006. Previously, it had been called Potentilla concinna var. curvata by B.C. Johnston. "According to Art. 29 of the Code 2000, Johnston did not publish this name effectively in 1984" (Sojak 2006). Kartesz (1999) does not mention Potentilla concinna var. curvata.
