Rank Reasons
Known from the Cascades in Oregon (and adjacent southern Washington) and also in eastern Oregon at high elevations, but apparently seldom collected in the Pacific Northwest (Hitchcock and Cronquist 1973). In California, known from Siskiyou and Modoc counties in the north, the Sierra Nevada and White Mountains. Also western and northern Nevada. Abundance in California and Nevada is unknown.
