Taxonomic Comments
This record is for the narrow treatment of Erigeron breweri, excluding E. klamathensis as a distinct species, as recognized by Nesom in FNA (2006, vol. 20). As treated there, the species is comprised of five varieties: var. bisanctus, var. breweri, var. covillei, var. jacinteus, and var. porphyreticus. Other treatments (e.g., Kartesz 1994, 1999) include E. klamathensis as a variety of E. breweri.
