Taxonomic Comments
This record is for the narrow treatment of Polemonium occidentale, which excludes Polemonium occidentale ssp. lacustre as a distinct species, as recognized in Rose and Sytsma (2022). Kartesz (1994) included the subspecies lacustre so Polemonium occidentale ssp. occidentale of Kartesz (1994) is equivalent in concept to P. occidentale as recognized in Rose and Sytsma (2022).
