Taxonomic CommentsPer Mast and Reveal (2007), when moving Dodecatheon alpinum to Primula, Primula tetrandra "Replaces D. alpinum (A. Gray) Greene, Erythea 3: 39. 1895, non P. alpina Salisb., 1796." FNA (vol. 8, 2009) does not recognize distinct subspecies in Dodecatheon alpinum.
