Taxonomic Comments
Accepted by Kartesz (1994 checklist and 1999 floristic synthesis) as a species native to North America; has been confused in the past with Chamaesyce/Euphorbia maculata, a species which Kartesz also recognizes. The Flora of North America (vol. 12 2016) transfers Chamaesyce nutans to Euphorbia nutans; these represent the same concept for the element.
