Taxonomic Comments
The name Delphinium burkei is often misapplied to this species (cf. FNA, vol. 3, 1997); Kartesz (1999) accepts D. distichum as a species, and considers D. x burkei to be a hybrid. They have similar but not identical ranges. LEM 28Jun00.
