Range Extent Comments
Hickman (1993) shows an area of occurrence for Acanthomintha obovata of approximately 200 by 50 miles. The Consortium of California Herbaria (Dec. 4, 2006) shows specimens in the following counties: Fresno, Los Angeles, Monterey, Plumas, San Benito, San Luis Obispo, San Mateo, and Ventura.
