Taxonomic CommentsEsslinger (2016, 2018) elevates Alectoria sarmentosa ssp. vexillifera (= A. vexillifera) to full species level, therefore A. sarmentosa ssp. sarmentosa here is equivalent to A. sarmentosa senso stricto.
