Taxonomic Comments
This record is for the narrow treatment of Castilleja angustifolia that excludes C. angustifolia var. dubia which is placed in the synonymy of C. applegatei ssp. martinii by Kartesz (1999). Egger et al. (in FNA 2019, vol. 17) recognizes the variety C. angustifolia var. dubia as well as var. flavescens.
