Range Extent Comments
Occurs in California from the North Coast Ranges, Sierra Nevada Foothills, Central Western California, South Channel Islands, and the southwest edge of the Mojave Desert. It also occurs in Baja, Mexico.
Occurrences Comments
Although the number of distinct occurrences is unknown, there are 969 accession records in the Consortium of California herbaria as of August 2007. The majority of these records are recent collections from a large number of counties.
