Taxonomic Comments
Kartesz (1999) recognizes two subspecies (parviflora and xantiana) in the species Clarkia xantiana; Lewis and Lewis (1955) considered Clarkia parviflora to be a synonym of their C. xanthiana instead. LEM 11-9-99.
