Diagnostic Characteristics

Cordylanthus rigidus can be characterized by its throat of corolla longer than wide, scarcely dinstinguishable from tube; width of bract divisions more than half the length of the spreading setae; corolla 12-14 mm long, +/- yellowish... Plants have ascending branches. (Munz, 1959)
