Taxonomic Comments
Most species of Eris from North and Central America moved to Paraphidippus by Edwards (2004). Four species are retained in the genus Eris: flava (Peckham and Peckham), floridana (Banks), militaris (Hentz) and rufa (C.L. Koch).
