Ecology & Habitat

Habitat

Stream bandks and moist rocks, from coast to above timberline (Hitchcock & Cronquist, 1973). Grassy hillsides and rocky ravines to alpine ledges and slopes (Scoggan, 1978). Mountain hemlock, Engelmann spruce-subalpine fir, spruce-willow-birch, interior western hemlock, coastal douglas fir, coastal western hemlock (Taylor & MacBryde, 1977).
