Habitat

Habitat includes rocky riffles and runs of clear fast creeks and small rivers (Page and Burr 2011); clear, high-gradient streams; in rapids, riffles, and runs with rock or gravel substrates (Lee et al. 1980).

Reproduction

Presumably similar to H. NIGRICANS.
