Taxonomic Comments
This record is for the narrow treatment of Nolina texana which excludes N. greenei as a distinct species, as recognized in Hess' treatment in FNA (vol. 26, 2002). Kartesz (1994, 1999) does not recognize N. greenei in synonymy, but based on the distribution data for N. texana in Kartesz (1999) which shows a broader range consistent with the range of N. greenei in FNA those treatments probably include N. greenei in N. texana.
