Taxonomic Comments
This record is for the broad treatment of Phemeranthus brevifolius as recognized in FNA (2003, vol. 4) which includes Talinum brachypodium (spelled T. brachypodum) as indistinct. Ferguson (2020) recognizes that as the distinct species, Phemeranthus brachypodius.
