Taxonomic Comments
According to Barringer in FNA (2019), "D. M. Thompson (1988) recognized two intergrading subspecies based on degree of hairiness and slight differences in seed sculpturing, but the differences are minor and inconsistent." Keil et al. (2020) recognize these subspecies as Antirrhinum nuttallianum ssp. subsessile and ssp. nuttallianum.
