Taxonomic Comments
This record is for a narrow treatment of Sarcobatus vermiculatus, excluding S. baileyi, as recognized by FNA (2003, vol. 4) and the Hils treatment in the Jepson Flora Project (2012). In contrast, Kartesz (1994) recognizes a broader treatment, including S. baileyi.
