Taxonomic Comments
Stotler and Crandall-Stotler (2017) spell Scapania nemorosa as S. nemorea, saying that since Grolle (1963a) transferred Jungermannia nemorea L. (Linnaeus, 1759) to Scapania, the correct name for this taxon is S. nemorea (L.) Grolle and not S. nemorosa (L.) Dumort.
