Name corrected from 'sibirica' (Kartesz 1991 draft) to 'siberica' in published 1994 Kartesz checklist. LEM 14Apr97. Most U.S. floras (e.g., Fernald 1950, Mohlenbrock 1986) use the 'sibirica' spelling although Hortus Third uses 'siberica.'
