Catron and Sierra counties, NM - from Mescalero Apache reservation to the Mogollon Mtns. Also AZ from Flagstaff area to NM.; northern Mexico.

Pine forests. Rocky, wooded slopes in the mountains from 1675-2900 m elevation.
