Taxonomic Comments
Stable, most info from J. Thomson, 1984, American Arctic Lichens, I. Magnusson originally consider this species a variety of S. paschale; as var. evolutoides. Closely related and similar. Previously misspelled in central database; correct spelling of epithet is 'saxatile.'
