Taxonomic Comments
As treated here (following Kartesz 1999), excludes Trifolium friscanum, a Utah endemic sometimes treated as T. andersonii var. friscanum; Kartesz (1999) recognizes three subspecies (andersonii, beatleyae, and monoense); these are sometimes treated instead as varieties.
