Taxonomic Comments
As treated here and in Kartesz (1999) Yucca filamentosa includes Y. flaccida. FNA (vol. 26, 2002) treats them as distinct, but suggests that it is possible that Y. flaccida should be treated as a variety of Y. filamentosa.
