Taxonomic Comments
Many early authors considered Narcissus tazetta and N. papyraceus to be synonymous. Kartesz (1994 checklist) does not list N. papyraceus or place it in synonymy with N. tazetta, and FNA (vol. 26, 2002) treats them as distinct.
