Taxonomic Comments
Kartesz (1994, 1999) recognized four varieties in Collinsia sparsiflora (var. arvensis, var. bruceae, var. collina, and var. sparsiflora). Flora of North America Editorial Committee (2019) recognizes two varieties: Collinsia sparsiflora var. sparsiflora in a broad sense (including var. arvensis, and var. bruceae), and Collinsia sparsiflora var. collina.
