Taxonomic Comments
FNA (vol. 5, 2005) recognizes three subspecies in Polycarpon tetraphyllum, with P. tetraphyllum ssp. tetraphyllum occurring in North America. Kartesz's (1994) P. tetraphyllum is here equivalent to FNA's P. tetraphyllum ssp. tetraphyllum. This represents the full species record.
