Taxonomic CommentsFNA (vol. 26, 2002) elevates Cypripedium guttatum var. yatabeanum (= C. yatabeanum) to full species level. Therefore according to FNA, Kartesz's (1994) C. guttatum var. guttatum is here equivalent to FNA's C. guttatum and this record is rendered obsolete.
