Taxonomic Comments
Polypogon viridis is the accepted name for Agrostis semiverticillata in Kartesz (1994, 1999). Agrostis species with spikelets falling entire, as in A. semiverticillata, are now included in Polypogon (Wagner and Herbst 1999).
