Number of Occurrences21 - 80
Rank Reasons
Calycadenia micrantha has about 22 known occurrences but more occurrences may be discovered with increased search effort. Threats may include development, changes in fire regime, roads, pigs, nonnative plants and military activities. Most occurrences are on U.S. Forest Service Lands. Basic research is needed on the ecology and biology of this plant.
Range Extent Comments
Endemic to California. The range of this plant includes several counties including Colusa, Humboldt, Lake, Monterey, and Trinity. These counties are largely non-adjacent, suggesting the true distribution may be quite a bit larger than we currently have data for.
Occurrences Comments
Twenty-two occurrences but eight of these are historic and should be surveyed to confirm plants are extant.
Threat Impact Comments
Threats may include fuel breaks, development, alteration of fire regimes, military activities, and feral pig disturbance.
